Anatomy Physiology & Biochemistry International Journal Juniper Publishers Author By:  Kaur Jasneet Abstract Background:  Recurrent implantation failure (RIF) is a major challenge to ART success. Despite extensive research a comprehensive understanding of the intricacies of the process of implantation remain elusive. Historically, it has been assumed that the window of implantation is always constant in all women. However, molecular analyses of endometrial receptivity demonstrate a personalized WOI (pWOI) that is displaced in one out of four patients with recurrent implantation failure. Here, we report a clinical case of successful pET after one fresh and three frozen embryo transfer failure Case description: A 31-year-old women with primary infertility, grade 4 endometriosis and recurrent implantation failures underwent embryo transfer in the personalized window of implantation as guided by the ERA test and had a successful ART outcome. Conclusion: In the era of personalized med

Electromyographic Responses of Postural Variations through Neurosensory Stimuli

Anatomy Physiology & Biochemistry International Journal Juniper Publishers Author By:  Silva Débora dos Santos, Abstract Posture can be defined as an interaction of the body segments, which can respond to stimuli and if shape according to these. Postural evaluation is a method used in physical therapy in order to analyze these body segments and your influence on therapy. The aim of this study is identified whether the life experience, through stimulating sensorineural components, has influence on posture. It is a study observational and cross-sectional quantitative character and was composed of a group of 31 individuals. Synergy was observed between the Tibialis anterior and gastrocnemius muscles through surface electromyography and to evaluate postural variation Romberg test was used. An evaluation was performed through positive and sensorineural components other stimuli through negative stimuli. The collected data were statistically analyzed using the Wilcoxon test with signifi

Effect of Exercise and K-Taping in Management of Nonspecific Chronic Back Pain (Case Study)

Anatomy Physiology & Biochemistry International Journal Juniper Publishers Author By:  Sharick Shamsi Abstract Background and purpose:  The purpose of this case report is to describe the outcome of a exercise protocol -based intervention plan combined with K-Taping for a patient with non-specific chronic low back pain. Case description:  35-year-old male patient whose primary complaints of severe LBP with radiculopathy into the left lower extremity. MRI-scan revealed a disc bulging at the L5-S1 vertebral junction. He reported a score of 6/10 on Visual Analog Scale (VAS). The patient was treated for LBP with exercises protocol and K-Taping, for 6 sessions for 2 times a week once a day for 3 weeks. Outcomes:  There was no pain (0/10) reported on VAS Scale after intervention and no impairment or functional limitations, including normal range of motion of lumber spine in all direction. Discussion:  The patient was able to get back to work without any problem and he was able to resume

The Relationship between Nutrition and Carcinogenic Pathology

Image
Anatomy Physiology & Biochemistry International Journal Juniper Publishers Author By:  Titus Moga Abstract There are obvious differences in the incidence of specific cancers for different geographic areas of the world. The role of the breed in the development of specific types of cancer is difficult to say because in most cases this factorial load is represented by eating habits or practices. Frequency of carcinogenic pathology is higher in developed countries, as modern civilization, industrialization, chemistry, refined processed foods lead to the formation of malignant tumors. Statistics show the most common form of cancer being the one there colorectal or intestinal, this being the 8th part of the total cancers. A balanced diet can stop or even treat this bad pathology. Keywords:  Colon; Cancer; Nutrition; Human race; Geographical areas, Mediterranean, Asian diet Introduction The most powerful factor that affects well or bad health is diet [1].
